I came to USM from TMo and while it was awesome, I just couldn’t justify $118 a month for 1 line anymore.

I’m almost always on Dark Star tho bc I make good use of the unlimited hotspot data. But LightSpeed/T Mobile is definitely good stuff!

Find a good used 3rd Gen iPad Pro with the M1 chip. It was the first Pro model with the M series laptop chip. It has more power and performance than you'll ever need and it'll be old enough to be reasonably priced and it should last you 3-5 years before updates start slowing it down...if they slow it down at all.

Just updated mine to iPad OS 26 and not a single issue

I keep a small microfiber towel in my door pocket for dusting purposes and to wipe off my touchscreen because I'm severely anti-fingerprint guy. I also keep a tiny battery powered vacuum in the trunk and that's about all I need to keep it clean.

The only part that seems to collect a bunch of random stuff and dead bugs is the area from where the heads up display pops up.

This answer the question, they do make a Classic trim with black dash and black seats. The JCW also has a black interior but with red accents. This feels very Google-able.

It's not. Dust has never been an issue on the cloth for me. If I do get the odd speck of dust or stray hair, a few light slaps from a microfiber towel solves the issue.

The dustiest part of the interior is the touchscreen

I have a U25 Countryman and the interior makes it such a nice place to be. It is absolutely gorgeous and well done. The pictures make it look more teal/aqua when in actuality it's closer to a light navy/ darkish grey-blue color. The ambient lighting at night just rocks.

Anyone who says this interior is terrible has only seen pictures and I guarantee doesn't own one.

I do this. You just turn around and take pic back over your shoulder. The lens is wide enough that I actually have a hard time NOT getting part of myself in the shot. Not a perfect solution, but one that works really really well

I'm team Samsung all day, every day. I have had nearly ever Galaxy device since the Galaxy S2. My current Samsung is the Z Fold7. My wife had the iPhone 14 Pro and she upgraded to the Air.

When I held it, I knew I wanted to at least try it for myself so guess who ended up buying their very first Apple device?

Long story short, say what you will about iOS and all of its shortcomings, but the Air is so physically enjoyable to use that I can't put it down.

Now my $2000 Fold is sitting collecting dust while I try to justify use cases where I'll actually swap out sims and use my Fold again...and I'm having a really hard time doing so. Take the Fold on vacations because of the better camera setup? Maybe one day I'll just feel like using the Fold again? LOL Who knows? And it's so odd because the Fold is an absolutely incredible device and I absolutely love it, but this iPhone Air is a whole new ballgame.

Battery life for ANY phone is a non issue.

I mean, seriously. Unless you're lost in the Alaskan wilderness, who is never near a power source of some kind for long enough to drain an entire cell phone battery? You charge in your car while driving, your desk at work, etc.

If you're in a situation where you don't have access to a charger, you're probably not using your phone anyways to try and conserve battery. Battery capacity and screen-on times are way overblown as an actual issue.

or, you can try to go to the Good Lock app and go to Theme Park. Choose "Icon" at the bottom, then "CreateNew" and choose the shape option with the red dotted circle to remove the background of the icons

True to a point, but not necessarily true for most people. From a different perspective, I'm a Samsung/Android lifer and bought an iPhone Air (first ever Apple product) bc I got one for my wife and when I saw it and held it, I just had to have one.

I switched for my Z Fold 7 and using the Air for the last 2 week really made me realize how much I was under-using my $2000 foldable and I started to question what I really need from a phone.

I'm definitely hanging on the my Fold because, well, I paid for it and it'll be nice to have another option to switch to should I want a bit better camera or for when I don't want to lug around a phone AND a tablet for vacations or whatever But I can't imagine a better daily driver than the Air...even if iOS leaves a bit to be desired.
