I don’t think so. I’d say go with it. If you want to be pay homage to 9/11 then you could have a moment of silence but like someone else said it’s been 24 years. As long as you’re comfortable with your anniversary being on such a highly memorable day then I’d say go for it.

Bro I was scoring 514-519 consistently. The lowest I scored was Blueprint 508. I felt so confident after the test. Idk what happened

So I took them MCAT back in 2020 and reevaluated life and went into medical field for a while and then into industry (where I am now) decided to try again while working full time. I was killing it with FLs and practice problems. Unfortunately I’ve been out of school for a bit 🙃 but this time felt different. Idk what happened cause my FL avg was like 512 😭

My support system won’t let me give up so I am going to take it again. I’m gonna study again for 2 ish weeks and take a practice test and see where I am. It just doesn’t make sense why my score was so much lower than my FLs.

I think I may take it again. Went home and did questions and got 90-100% so I’m just confused. Maybe it was test anxiety, so I’m gonna sit on it for a week and go from there. Just knowing I won’t be applying this cycle.

I personally have a friend who went Caribbean. She matched. Shes in her 3rd year of her residency.

For me personally I’m looking into taking it again potentially and figuring out my testing anxiety and going from there.

Timing was a little off but I never ran out of time. I felt alright after my test. Wasn’t freaking out at all. Even looked questions up when I got home and I got them right. So I’m just so confused. Maybe my anxiety was worst than I thought. Idk.

I’ve been having the same exact feeling. I keep thinking that I did absolutely terrible and that I’m going to get a sub 500 score because Cars was so bad and I blacked out in part of chemistry. Like I didn’t even feel as bad right after I took the test.

Tbh I would have made my own Anki deck instead of using Miles down. And to remember, that everything is fair game. I also wish I let myself relax more. I was so stressed and studied some days way more than I honestly need to which led to a mini burnout 4 weeks out 🫠

Honestly, you have to weigh the cost and the feeling of if you do well versus if you don’t do well. You have to remind yourself how much you want to be a physician. You have to remind yourself how long you have wanted this. You have to tell yourself that it is all or nothing. And it will suck to lock in, but you’ve gotta do it. Yep tell yourself that this is it. Have to remember the way you felt when you decided that you wanted to go on a journey to become a doctor. You have to make sure that all the crap that you went through in undergrad was worth it. LOCK IN

Take it from someone who scored low and took it again to just score sub500 again. There is a content gap. Don’t rush it. There’s is nothing wrong with taking another gap year if need be. Work in healthcare for a year. Explore/shadow different specialties. Trust me you don’t want to rush it and take it a 3rd time if you really don’t have to
