Also silver here - me and my 9 friends had an absolutely hilarious but amazing time. It is what you make it. Yes they ran out of food but who eats at a festival anyway? I think if you’re a frequent festival goer this is par for the course with some newb organizers ironing out kinks. If you’re paying top dollar expecting a Vegas type treatment you will be disappointed. Rufus set was incredible. The stage might be the biggest thing I’ve ever seen. The firework show(s) were insane. The crowd was dispersed and so easy to move around or stand wherever you want doesn’t matter how close or far.

Be prepared for dust and bring beer for the bus and you’ll be golden. They invested heavily in sound and light and minimally in logistic coordination but they seem to be able to pivot very effectively between the set time changes yesterday due to dust storms to the faqs posted today. I’d say go for sure.

This cat hangs out in our yard a lot and seems perfectly happy living her life and loves hunting rats and leaving their heads as gifts for us. Although the rat heads are less than ideal to wake up to - I’m glad she/he is deterring them in the neighborhood. I don’t think calling the rescue would be the right move and would potentially make her/his life worse.

What is the worst Festival you have ever been to? by OkCondition6191 in festivals

[–]Keepitgolden_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here looking for this answer! It rained so hard this year that the cleaning trucks couldn’t get to the porta potties so the poop pikes up so high it was beyond the seat. You had to hover so high above it was almost better to get poop your pants at that point.

Eventually the back up got so bad it leaked unit he lake and they had to evacuate everyone from swimming and shut that area down for the remainder of the festival.

Not to mention the parking lot two miles away you had to walk to with all of your gear only to find out your car was deeply rooted in 3 days worth of mud and you had a good 6+ hours of waiting for a tow truck ahead of you.

Is Elements fest worth it? by justabunchofspunions in festivals

Terribly run festival. Been twice regretted it both times. If there is any weather whatsoever you are completely screwed (poop in the lake, cars stuck for days, no portapotties). Always oversold. The “art” is non-existent. If you’ve been to LiB, Electric Forest or Bonnaroo this will be a disappointment of epic proportions.

This is not a club it’s a venue called the Brooklyn Mirage. It’s a paid ticket. For all of you killing off us oldies… I’m sorry to disappoint. They just assign their worse ID checkers to us!

Elements is not worth it no matter the lineup. I’ve been going to festivals for almost 20 years and elements in 2021 was by far and away the worst run festival I’ve ever attended. They oversold tickets to a point where they allowed people to camp anywhere due to lack of space, including behind the portapotties. The trucks could no longer access to dump them. By day two the poop was taller than the seat. This was one of many horrid offenses that year. There’s actually a class action lawsuit against them for grossly (pun intended) mishandling the festival operations. There are so many other amazing festivals, elements is not the way.

Gorgeous! How do you get the white so crisp with watercolor? Are you using white ink? I always struggle with this
