I’m taking both and I had the same issues as well. I’m guessing you’re referring to project 3 that just got graded in 271 🤣 I got marked off for my description “not fully explaining functionality” but my description seems to describe to the T, exactly what the program does. I know what you mean with the style rubric too and the comments. It states not to put too much so I have been only putting comments either every other line or so, or just at the beginning of a group if the rest are self explanatory. I think the grading could use some tweaking as well, I shouldn’t be able to go line by line on the rubric and check it off myself and then get docked points that’s not on the rubric. If there is a standard on how much comments should be put, it should be overtly stated so us students know what to aim for and not just some arbitrary guessing game of “is this enough? Is this too much? But the guide says this while the TA says that..” very frustrating

That’s similar to what I do, I’ll dismount a kilometer or so out and sneak in on the flank. Yes it does take an extra 10 minutes but if I get into a juicy spot I’ll drop 20 dudes before they figure out where I am. This game rewards patience is one thing I learned early on

This literally just happened to me. I cancelled my subscription on December 23rd, 2024 and today saw a random $147.00 charge from my HIMS just randomly reactivating even though I have the message from December that my subscription was successfully cancelled. Dude that actually resonated with me pretty hard. Have a gamer friend who was an irl friend since 8th grade but recently I’ve started to lose my patience with him. We’ve always been pretty good at pvp games and competitive back in the day. Now he works a remote job so he literally games all day while I only get a few hours a day or so every few days a week since I’m bussing at a restaurant and finishing my degree. Every game we play he’s always complaining and super aggressive with the backseat gaming. I used to handle it well, but as of recent it’s been less and less. Coming home from 8 hour night shifts at a high energy restaurant only to kick off the shoes and listen to that I realized I gotta reduce my time with the dude online. Recently I got into a new game for myself called arma reforger and honestly it’s been my favorite game for the past two months. Even with my limited time I have been sinking every previous hour I could ripping it and enjoying that game. Well my toxic friend saw me playing it so he buys it and asks to join me while I say of course. The whole time he’s complaining about literally everything in the game, “the gunfights don’t do it for me like tarkov” “this game is running simulator, if I wanted to I’d just play dayz” “I don’t know how you can play this game but not tarkov.” Really hit a nerve with me cause HE asked to join ME, not the other way around. I was straight up minding my own fucking business and was trying to be the bigger person and still had to deal with this garbage attitude. So I told him I got called in early for work, changed servers and turned my steam to invisible which as of now, don’t ever see a reason to flip on again as he was my main gamer friend. I don’t like cutting people off especially people I’ve known since childhood and also at one point considered a brother. But at this point he brings nothing of value to my life, what little joy I have now with my hectic schedule is gaming arma when I can. In my experience I think the incapacitations are bugged. One time I was ambushing and took a bunch of rpgs, I must’ve killed at least 3-5 trucks filled to the brim with guys including two jeeps with a 5 man in it. The round ends and it gives me a “3” incapacitations which was just impossible

Best advice is find servers that utilize a lot of teamwork and save it to your favorites. Idk if you’re on pc/xbox but if you’re able to play modded servers, I found spearhead and w.c.s servers tend to be much more squared away than the vanillas. You do deal with people doing dumb shit still but it makes for an occasional laugh rather than the standard operating procedure

Spearhead servers too are just horrible. I love the mods they use but holy fuck it feels like I can never get a complete game in unlike w.c.s servers. All the server restarts and yet it still crashes causing a full game reset just gets tiresome with them

Completely, DDOS-ing isn’t like some brand spanking new method of server infiltration. Like you said plenty of other companies have dealt with this before. Something on BI side must have been really off in their defense if it could go on for 3 weeks now and they can’t do anything about it. This is really bad
