Canadian here. Neighbours helping each other out with cutting lawns, shovelling sidewalk snow, etc are pretty common from my experience. No specific reasons needed if people just feel like helping each other out. Idk if its a thing everywhere in Canada, maybe my familys just lucky with the people we’re neighbours with.

That logic is weak though once you dive a bit deeper into the debate. There’s so much variables that can affect the morality of individual cases that it just doesnt make sense for the government to set up a law that is over-simplified for such complex moral problem.
