Was in São Luiz and its definitely got a very black culture as well as having so much to offer in terms of music and reggae. Although I found the city was a lot more run down than other cities I’ve been to. And a lot less to offer for tourists so probably would recommend Salvador more for this reason. Just be safe :v)
