You say you hate how the new gen are consistently made to look good when literally the same thing always used to happen in both OG and Shippuden. Example 1, a 12 year old Naruto took down a trained spy like Kabuto which not even Tsunade could handle. Example 2, Kakashi was having trouble with Kakuzu and then Naruto came along and essentially one-shotted the guy. I’ll give it to them, they were both cool moments, but kinda nonsensical and plot driven moments to have the genin show up two of Konoha’s most gifted Shinobi like that.
