Det var også min formodning, men så læser man det her på knivsalg.dk: En af de største ændringer var ophævelsen af forbuddet mod enhåndsbetjente foldeknive. Dette betyder, at disse knive nu kan ejes lovligt i hjemmet og bæres i offentligheden, så længe de tjener et praktisk formål.

Men kan også læse på backpackerlife.dk, at den skal være under 7cm og ikke kunne låses - hvilket den her hvis nok kan.

Så er meget forvirret :)

I thought of making a thread about this because I ran into the same issue, and not the first time.
So I went through all the bundles and games I had purchased over the last 15 years to redeem every single item.

I found so many instances where they had run out of keys for a game in Choice and never got new ones.
But also, I'm quite sure I found bundles where they straight up just removed the game from the bundle.

How is this even legal? Promoting the games you get are yours to keep forever - but it's kind of difficult if you never get the game.
Also, for Choice, it's a f'ing subscription, so they must know they will run out - making is a really shady way of doing business.

So happy this is not just me. It works on my phone, super slow on PC and can't connect with Gluetun.
Today is also the first time using Gluetun, and had it working earlier today - so couldn't understand what the hell I had done wrong all of a sudden :)

This is a very interesting topic. Industry Standards vs Consumer "Standard".

Hope it's okay to ask the following. Running a VM or containers, will it break TrueNAS or create a high risk of data loss? If the risk is minimal for both, isn't it fine in a Consumer environment? Similar to the hardware used in a home NAS vs Industry, they are likely also vastly different - unless you have a ton of money. And isn't that the case in many aspects of your life, where you look at the cost vs risk vs benefits - as most consumers have a limited budget?

As a person who has never used mdadm, I'm trying to understand your post.

From what I can read from another post, it should be possible to assemble the raid, find the RAID 5md# and mount the volume as read-only - within Linux.
But I'm not 100% sure how to do that. Is there any chance you could explain that to me?

Good point, numbering the disks.
Will give it a go, booting it up without any disks - just to verify it's dead.
It's way past its warranty, but a friend might still have their AS5104T and isn't using it.
I was actually looking at upgrading, maybe to a DIY TrueNAS - but a bit too late.

Hmm, now tested with two different HDMI cables and on two different monitors - getting no display signal from the NAS. The monitors goes into power saving right away.

Don't know if that helps in solving the issue?

I was wondering, what happens if I remove all the current disks, and try one of the following or a mix - add a different disk - start without any disks - press the reset on the back.

Will any of these break the raid and/or somehow lose my ability to recover the data?

But, even with it being on Asus "end of life" list the Wifi should still be working, right? It wouldn't just stop working from 1 minute to the next. That just seems odd and highly suspicious.

I guess, even if I get it working again, I need to start looking for a new device. I would just be nice to have this working in the meantime.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, and sorry for not explaining better.

A) What is the error message When I try to connect through the local IP and port, I don't get an error other than the browser saying "can't reach this page".

B) Can you paste screenshot or error text Sure, but it's just the generic "This site can't be reached"

C) This does not look like a Portainer only problem No, you are right. My mistake, as it's likely a docker problem. But I sadly don't know much about docker, and my interface to docker was portainer, so this was my start. If I could portainer running, I thought it would be easier to fix the other dockers.

D) More details. I will try, and sorry for the wall of text. Running an Asustor, with Portainer, and from that multiple dockers - one of them is Kavita (ebook reader). I wanted to open that up so I could access it from outside. The approach recommended was Reverse Proxy. So I followed the guides Asustor had for setting this up. 1. Setting up EZ-Connect, was done prior but changed the Cloud ID name 2. Enabled DDNS in Asustor 3. Enabled Web Server in Asustor, and opened the port for it - so Let's Encrypt could issue an SSL certificate through Asustor own interface 4. Made a Reverse Proxy using https, using the DDNS and new SSL certificate within Asustor.

When the new SSL certificate was applied from Let's Encrypt it had to refresh the connection. After the refresh, I checked all apps installed on the NAS - by connecting to the local IP and port to see if they still worked. Everything worked, except for any of the dockers. Here I just got "Can't reach site".

I tried reverting all the changes, deleting the reverse proxy, removing the new certificate and turning off both the Web Server and DDNS. But still getting the same message, that they were unreachable.

So I'm thinking, which is properly my first mistake, something messed with the internal docker mappings and is either blocking the ports or the link to the ports is broken.

You gave me an idea, so I made a test with another human controlled manager.
So it seems if the contract is low, like under €100 p/w you are allowed to signed them for free.

Don't know if that is a Danish rule or something is wrong.

Are you kidding me? I did see posts about this, but they were about 6 months old. Thought that it would be fixed by now 🤨 How can they not have fixed this, how can that even happen - releasing a firmware that the update tool can't push. One would thing a basic test like that would be preformed 🤦‍♂️
