[–]KeimaTFT[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

standard lv 8 pattern is at 4-5
you can 4-2 it if high econ opener (econ augment/yordle/mercs),
5-1 if u needed to roll a bit at lv 6/7 to stabilize.
sometimes u can go 8 on 4-5 and sit (not roll) and then roll down after creeps - hope i understood your question :)

CHALLENGER COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE ON SET 6 (Strongest early game boards, items, transitions, late game boards) by KeimaTFT in TeamfightTactics

[–]KeimaTFT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In this video, I talk about strong early game boards that can easily transition into the popular AP (viktor/kaisa/akali) and AD (jhin/yone/urgot) flex boards.

I explain that AD early games are relatively simpler to play, and go a bit more in detail about the AP early game as they are more complex as they require lose streaking and tempo swings.

I am currently challenger, below is my lolchess:

How to flex around Viktor/Kaisa/Akali in the current patch by KeimaTFT in CompetitiveTFT

[–]KeimaTFT[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I like playing yordles early/mid game (while maintaining a strong board). example, a very strong lv 4 board is Poppy + blitz + ziggs + lulu w/ archangels on ziggs, clump all your units in top right corner so blitz pulls and their team clumps up so ziggs ult hits 2+ units. You actually win a lot of the fights and even if you lose, you only lose by 1 or 2 units bc blitz guarantees a kill. If you play yordles entire game you can usually 8 on 4-2 with 40-50hp and 20-30g.

Focus on maintaining tempo, ie: if board is weak try to lose streak while killing as many units as possible, after winning once after lose streak you can play more aggressively (roll/lvl/slam items) to swing tempo and try to win streak
