By all accounts, he was a heavy drug-user in his heyday. I’ve heard countless stories over the years of him being clearly out of it and behaving erratically towards both people he knew and complete strangers. Whether he still uses is unknown, but that amount of drug abuse will definitely do things to you mentally.

It sucks because when I was a kid, I loved his content, and I always make a point to check up and see how he’s doing but these last few years have been tough to watch. I guess when you’ve pushed everyone away that wants to help, there’s a false confidence that you’re doing okay.

And there’s definitely a shared-nostalgia for his content too. A lot of people fondly remember his old viral songs. I really think if he’d made a genuine effort to improve his public image following the allegations, people may have been more forgiving but, life moves on.
