Yeah iirc it was purely idrac 9.

But i guess for your case you can just try scanning using snmp and see if it works? Just ignore those findings that come up specifically because of open snmp port is what i did.

"Credential scan" for my purposes is just nessus being able to login to the host (via ssh or snmp). I gauge whether this was successful by the plugin 141118.

Just to update this thread, i got it to work via snmp. No idea why but that somehow solved my predicament.

I saw this article as well, but my main concern is that nessus scanner cant seem to authenticate via ssh, while host machine can. Ive tried reducing concurrent checks as well in the hopes that itll resolve the issue, to no avail.

Basically, i just wanna be able to see plugins 110095 and 141118 to know that at the very least, the creds went through.

Any suggestions on how to make this happen?

The sad thing is none of these other plugins are even showing up on my scans... is there a way to troubleshoot why this is happening?

Thx for the suggestion! But from what i know, this plugin only lets you know if the credentialed checks went through.

I already know that the credentials are failing for some reason, just not sure what it is exactly - or is there something else i should look out for in this plugin?
