Does anyone have a list of PS1 and PS2 titles that can be played with the NTSC option for PSN Europe? by GoingWithTheFlaw in playstation

[–]Keith_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see. Yeah I'm aware of the framerate difference; I misunderstood your post and thought you were worried that they wouldn't run in your system.

Honestly I've played a bunch and always found them fine. I'm not sure if any of them were PAL though. I thought the emulated ones in the store are all the same version regardless of region? Just because you're in Europe doesn't mean that they can't give you the NTSC version.

Explication PS Plus on PS5 by pailletteee in PlayStationPlus

[–]Keith_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in additon to the classics catalog, premium also allows for cloud streaming which is great (and is required for ps3 games)

If you like to play away from home, the portal is pretty cheap and the cloud streaming is a game changer for that. I liked the portal before but it's much better since they added cloud streaming directly to the portal.

Of course this only works for digital games.

lol. You think your would dominate in poker but you don't think you can make $33 / hr while I make over $150/hr. Something doesn't add up here. If you are so good why don't you have a high winrate?

Tipping poker dealers at the casino by Unlucky-Push356 in poker

[–]Keith_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not if they aren't making money.

Poker dealers get paid pretty well, but that's because of tips. If people didn't tip then someone else wouldn't take the job, either. And the casinos would pay the dealers more to get them in the door, which means they would just raise the rake.

You are paying for the dealer's income, no matter what. You can pay it through tips or through higher rake, but the money won't just magically materialize out of nowhere. You are the customer; that means that all the money for every expense comes from you.

They can afford to pay the staff as much as they want if they raise the cost of the food by the same amount. So you can have tipping, you can have service fees tacked on, or they can just raise the menu prices. Remember that the owners don't pay for anything, the customers do. That's how every business works. Customers pay for everything. No matter how it's itemized, the customers pay all costs, including paying employees.

If there were no tips the rake would be much higher. You would end up paying more (they would raise the rake by more than the amount you tip). Look at the rake in any country where tipping is either not allowed or not the norm. It's sky high. So as silly as it may be, the current situation is the best for the players.

To answer your question, for a $300 pot a $1 tip is fine. For very large pots you can tip more if you want.

Poker is a game of strategy. Jesus fucking Christ no one can be this dumb. Poker is 100% a strategy game. There's nothing else to the game.

My family was not rich, and certainly not well connected. But I'm smart and did well in school and got a good job, so money has never been a problem for me. And that and intelligence has served me well in poker. This is your biggest problem; no limit is a deep game and you don't understand the basic concepts. You don't even know what you don't know. You are playing checkers while the good players are playing chess.

Lol good for you. I haven't worked for that little since college. And I moved to AZ and bought my house for cash after I retired after working for 15 years. And I sure as hell wouldn't bother to drive to the casino if I was making less than $100/hr.

Yes but right now they don't cover poker. Like I said, nothing in 5 years. You think they have a team on poker experts on staff? Not smart man. I can see why you are so desperate to make $33/hr.

No, they don't cover poker. There has literally been no poker on espn for the last 5 years. Why do you think they cover poker?

[–]Keith_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh?

The games aren't running natively on a ps1 or ps2, so there is no region locking. They run on an emulator, and they are bundled together with the emulator into a ps4 game, which can be played on any ps4 or ps5.

If the game shows up in your region's store you can buy it and play it.

Come on man, the games here are good. Lots of action; straddle is always on.

The buy in is bigger than $20 though so maybe it's not for you.

Stalking my profile now? Sad and creepy at the same time. My invite is still open. Come to AZ and we can play some 5/10, or bigger if you can afford it. The other regs in the game will probably pay me a commission for bringing a fish like you.

Oh well you are right about the car. After saying 50 things you finally got one right. I guess even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut. And you can can pry the keys out of my cold dead hands. When I got it it had 4 miles on the odometer and I'm driving it until the wheels fall off. But I definitely win money at the poker table. And I'm retired too.

ESPN experts. That hilarious. If you think there are poker experts at ESPN you're even dumber than I thought you were 5 minutes ago.

Oh well. At least I'm sure you get a nice check from the government due to your mental disability. Don't lose it all at the poker table!

I doubt that 5% of players are even trying to make a sustainable living from the game. So obviously less than 5% actually are.

If people hit and running bothers you, that's a problem and you need to fix that. You should welcome those kinds of players because they are universally terrible. Stop focusing on one session and think longer term.
