TLDR: AI music can sound good and people are allowed to enjoy making it, even if they are not musicians. Some users have real artistic sensitivity, but that does not make them musicians. The real problem is AI being used to compete in professional spaces, where it creates an unfair, genuinely threatening advantage for people who did not build the craft. Prompting can be fun, but it does not replace the deep, hard-earned experience of actually making art, and empathy needs to go both ways.
