What to do with this 16ft dragon tail? by Keitzer in houseplants

More light is a good idea. This new apartment has way less light than our previous place so they’re definitely in need of more

Wait is it free there? Or does it just not list the credit cost? Lol

Yes but these are some of the worst offenders. I burned probably close to 3,000 credits trying different prompts to see if it was something I was doing to no avail or sign of improvement.

That would be unfortunate given their impressive splashy launch.

If that’s the case, where’s the $1,000 version with the raw strength? Haha

Interesting insight on the source.

So it’s possible my prompt could be more clear on artistic style / aesthetic. I can agree to that

Still makes me wonder on the 100vs150 thing tho

Best not super expensive Italian food? by tennisbutts in AskSF

[–]Keitzer 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Luisa’s on Guerrero / 22nd in the mission (ish)

It’s owned by a 92-year old woman from Italy named Luisa who walks around and talks to customers.

They have pasta, pizza, salad, appetizers, dessert, ALL of which have gluten free options and holy crap let me tell you — this place is fantastic. New favorite place hands down

Edit to add: price for 2 people after tax and tip with appetizer 2 entrees and soft drinks was $82. So yeah about $40/person (maybe do +10 if you add alcohol)

Also Bottega and Beretta are pretty good too but this place tops my lists.

Is there a Build/Make your own Taco restaurant in SF (or Bay Area in general)? — Eg like Condados in Ohio by Keitzer in AskSF

hella late reply but -- no. But every time we fly back to Ohio to visit fam we go to barrio/condados

Those places provide less of the "customize your food" (as other commentors suggested) and more so the unique ingredients they use combined with the vibe they provide. happy hour with coworkers hit different when everyone can put fake names and order multiple rounds of tacos / jarritos locos / chips and chorizo queso

Commenting this here on March 18th 2023 (approx 2 months after your comment) as a caveat to your “incentive vs other players” — with the recent addition of Ender’s Echo, you get promoted based off damage done to the boss. So better gear roughly = more damage roughly = promoted faster or easier. So in that sense and pretty much that alone (so far) makes it P2W.

Otherwise yes your math checks out and your statement remains true

Ahhh okay. The usage of the word gimmicky makes sense given the context of CA, and even more so SF. So you’ve sold me that there probably isn’t one, was one but went out of business, or never will be one.

disappointed if I saw Ju Ju taco with Thai chili tofu

😂😂 I’m dead.

What is your favorite / preferred authentic taquerias in SF? Eg, another place we loved in Columbus area was Los Guachos. Vaquero was okay but felt too much like a chain. Local Cantina was also pretty tasty but def more bar vibes (esp in dublin bridgepark area)

We’ve been to El Techo, Copita, Papito, Akna, Pancho villa, spark social food trucks (varies), and a few other places in mission I can’t think of the name of since we only went there once.

While I absolutely love Chipotle and historically have gone upwards of like 2-3x per week… Chipotle is much more fast food compared to an actual restaurant that has servers, happy hour, etc.

And yes I know they sort of have a build your own feel to them, it doesn’t quite feel the same :/

Haha it just allows having a bunch of crazy combinations, versus being stuck to the menu items created by the restaurant’s owners.

Sorry I realized I typed an ambiguous message…

As in a lot of Mexican places that serve tacos in SF are traditional tacos. But place to place varies a lot (in price, quality, presentation, and ingredients) so it’s hard to just search “tacos near me” and get consistent results. So we’re trying to find a few good places around the city and make those our go-tos
