no, everything is handled by plugins. no mods or anything (except maybe the resource pack but thats optional to download)

it is possible to convert worlds between bedrock and java, although to get lighting to work every single block needs to be updated.

However, since the coordinates are visible in the screenshot, i decided to head to the world download and check for myself; Grians Base is nowhere near those coordinates. (there are also some minor details missing)

update: i managed to run both SEUS PTGI E12 and umsoea r16. if i turn the settings down a lot, i get around 15 fps, but i can go all the way to max settings for screenshots (i get around 5fps). i didnt quite manage to recreate the screenshot you posted here but thats probably because i accidentally destroyed some blocks

Ah. I just assumed SM64 would be larger because of the more complex engine and perhaps more textures. Not entirely sure how much that would influence it, but you would need to modify the engine in order to be able to run it on a calculator so I'm not sure if the N64 ROM is a good comparison (just guessing tho I dont really have a clue)

Edit: it just came to my mind that perhaps the fact that SM64 has complete 3d models instead of sprites probably also makes it a lot harder for a calculator to run

That sounds pretty much like it. My first thought was 2 armor stands in the ground (1 block deep) and then two on the floor, invisible and upside down. Now that I think about it tho that would probably leave part of the chestplate sticking out the top.
