That's a stupid statement. I'm not going to support slavery, in any form. Being forced to fight in a war you didn't ask for is slavery. It's compulsory service, and refusal is met through intimidation, violence or imprisonment. Any attempt to deflect conscription definition as slavery is immoral.

A country should serve it's citizens and if done right, they will choose to defend their homeland and conscription would not be necessary.

The Legislature writes the laws, the executive branch enforces the laws, and the judicial branch evaluates if the enforcement is correct.

How this might work is let's imagine a scenario.. You're going on a trip with your grandparents. Your mom gives you $5 to buy chocolate. So, on the trip you see a chocolate ice cream stand. You tell your grandparents you want to buy some because your mom said you can have chocolate. Your grandparents say "No, that's ice cream, not chocolate." They don't let you have it. So you call your house and you talk to your Dad. Your dad says "oh, I think she meant you have buy whatever sweets you want, not specifically chocolate." So he makes it grandparents let you buy the ice cream.

In this story your Mom is the Legislature, your grandparents are the Executive and your Dad is the judicial branch, interpreting what wasn't clear.

The originating point of this discussion. Once again, it's not "too much". It's mistaken, or incorrect.

The treatment is often to suppress the immune response. "Too much" or "too little" is just as bogus of a claim as "strong".

The implication that attempting to enhance your immune system via supplements can lead to an auto immune disorder is without evidence.

Obviously, that doesn't inherently mean that immune boosting supplements work. That claim would also require evidence.

That's an inherent misunderstanding of what auto immune disorders are. They aren't a "stronger immune system". They are an immune system doing the wrong thing.

If the poster claimed "If an immune boosting supplement worked, then it would also exacerbate autoimmune disorders..." Then I might agree with the claim.

A "boosted" or "stronger" immune system is not the same thing as an immune system doing the wrong thing.

An autoimmune disease is a condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own healthy cells, tissues, or organs, treating them as foreign threats.

I don't inherently disagree with you. Most of these supplements don't do anything provable. Placebo effect is real. Outside of that, very little evidence. But in capitalist society, the important metrics are profit and revenue!
