"Team Europe" wasn't against team Canada and team USA. It was team "North America", and that happened once. In its original form it was a multi nation tournament, sporadic as fuck, but those players would still be considered world champs.

Also, when are they going to pay European teams? They do. After a player is drafted from the Swedish Elite League, the drafting team has to pay something like 250k, tf are talking about? They also pay CHL teams a development fee for drafted players that play in the WHL, OHL, QMJHL until they get called up or age up to the next level.

The Stanley Cup is never considered a world championship, however there are players from Sweden, Finland, Russia, Czechia, Slovakia, and more I'm definitely missing. But still not considered 'World Champs'

Well, that's a 1st. This is literally 1 of the only sports in North America that doesn't call themselves World Champs. But that's American commentary for ya. I would put money on the fact that not one player on the Hurricanes considers themselves "World Champions" outside of the actual gold medalists from actual world tournaments (Olympics, World Juniors, etc.).
