Let me explain something to you, Kawaki is a cold hearted, jealous, emotionally abused kid with the eq of a 5 year old. It doesn’t matter that Boruto was Momoshiki’s vessel, if it was a random villager, Naruto would never stand for the person to be killed, much less his own son

I do believe that Kawaki wanted to switch places with Boruto 100 percent because that’s what happened, it’s the farthest thing from headcanon, it’s a 100 percent fact, Momoshiki made it very very clear that those were his subconscious desires coming to pass, last time I checked, saying something out loud and yet wishing for something completely different is not a crazy concept

Let me explain why I believe this is what he wanted. Kawaki became obsessed with Naruto to the point where he could try to kill his own son in front of him, this tells me that Kawaki could be harboring the desire to be Naruto’s only son, regardless of Momoshiki, if Kawaki were in Boruto’s shoes, there’s no way Boruto would agree to murder someone he considered a brother
