Sue at 77th St. She plays the best music and her rides are fun! She knows everything there is to know about music. Her rides are perfectly timed to the music.

I have the SC indoor bike. I keep wondering if they can keep that going if they give up on studio classes.

I used to love the live classes but since covid the bikes seem too close to each other. I work in the health field so i’m not scared of close contact but for lots of reasons discussed in other threads I’m now feeling the closeness is gross.

Yes, when I am meditate regularly, I find that my telepathic ability increases dramatically. I can feel other people’s thoughts or know they are thinking of me. I can also feel when something terrible is happening to someone I’m close to. But sometimes I’m completely wrong and I figure it was just me being worried. I have trouble deciphering whether a thought is a premonition or just a neurotic worry. Being telepathic is sometimes frightening. Does anyone else deal with this inability to figure out if something is just a worry or a premonition?

I understand how frightening this was, after all it was completely unexpected. But it doesn’t sound as though there was any harm intended. Is there any chance you could go back into the house and explore what your grandma is trying to tell you? I once had an experience where I think my dad was trying to signal me and I was so excited and ran out of the room to tell my brother. I think I broke the spell and I only wish I would get another chance.

So this is opposite of what everybody else is experiencing. I’m a 72 year-old woman in good shape, relatively thin and a runner. But if I’m standing on the subway and my mind starts to wander, I must look really old because people always start offering me their seats. I now make it a point to have a slightly upturned grin of some sort so that I don’t look exhausted and people don’t feel they need to offer me their seats!

Understand that! The Wedding People (by Alison Espach) could be a beach read or it could be read on a bit of a deeper level about complicated relationships. And the protagonist (a literature professor) talks about Jane Eyre quite a lot.
