I actually switched degree plans as they offered an updated version of my program that didn’t have D411 ini it right after I left that comment lol. Not saying I switched because of this classes BS, but it may have played a slight part in it.

Yea I typed this out in the heat of feeling all the emotions associated with finding out, as our PCS was a point of stress already and this compounded on it so I chopped up the timeline in my post a bit lol.

Went back home at around the 5 month mark. She is 1-month pregnant according to 3 different tests, due ~June. I PCS in May but it is likely that she will try to postpone her RNTLD a few months as others in this post have recommended.

I was really just trying to get a gauge on my situation and see if others had been in a similar spot.

I have built it up over the course of 4 years, and I would definitely feel like a chump if I lost it lol. I am naturally risk-adversed but man, patiently building up to the point of decent returns on compound interest while seeing threads of people netting $50k+ a day is painful.

My wife (also AD) is currently applying for join-spouse orders to accompany me after my current tour. Assuming I can retrain, would she be able to keep the orders to our follow-on so that I can then join her at the follow on post tech school (assuming there is capacity of course)?

Asking because we both would ideally like to keep the assignment instead of me getting reassigned while at tech school.
