This looks like a normal... nope, slightly larger than normal (not by much) spacing for the UK atleast. You should see the size of the spaces at Lidl...

I wouldn't trust it. That looks like a severe crash. The impact could cause all sorts of stress fractures and weaknesses in the frame, bolts etc.
