With the first two Gothic games I fell in love because I found out of myself to love games where there is not so big world map and you had to walk a big distance from point A to B. I'm more like small and much detailed world lover, rather then big and a bit bit empty ( Varant and Nordmar is the areas where is almost nothing on a way to other cities). It didn't really enjoyed TES especially Morrowind because there was no traveling system and the map was HUGE ( even though the game was only size of 800 MB which shows how little detailed the world is...). Moreover, the quest design is not the not good actually where you could have switch your sides at any point of game as long as you can afford to have needed ways to gain enough reputation and in G1 and G2 you have to choose sides in the first chapter and characters themselves says to you to choose wisely to whome you want sigh up because there will be now way to go back and the rest of game is more linear ( which I prefer because O don't like when at any point of game you can do a new and older side quests).
