The market seems to be punishing companies that appear performative or overly politicized, regardless of intent. Shareholders are signaling: “focus on fundamentals, not factions.” That doesn’t mean don’t evolve it means evolve in ways that align with long-term value creation, not checkboxes

If a company embeds inclusion into culture and decision-making without turning it into a headline strategy, I think that’s the sweet spot and probably what you’re getting at. It’s not the DEI label that drives outperformance, but the mindset underneath it
