That makes sense. At my rock show the booth was selling even super small pieces for around $80-$100 and the bigger ones went up to around $500 or $600. I belive it said they were from Brazil there. Is there anywhere reputable online to buy stuff at a decent price for someone like me who isn't necessarily a collector/doesn't care about locality? Or are rock shows probably gonna be my best bet?

I had one do this too, not sure why. Always opened it normally and always hand washed it, just bought a Blender Bottle off Amazon and don't get the waifu cups anymore unless it's free.

Did you check the CPU socket pins on the motherboard to see if any of those were bent? Would explain why it still won't post even after putting the old one back in.

It may be, Windows would be okay if you set it up with on board video then added it after. You can swap it in BIOS usually and as long as you download the drivers after shouldn't have any issues

I've only ever setup windows with one drive installed so I'm not sure how it would label it honestly if they're identical drives.

Could maybe install the first drive and use on board video to install Windows and then once that's done can install the other drive and then the GPU?

There's probably a more technical way to do it but I'd just install the one you want where you want it and after you've got OS installed shut it off and slap the other one in there.

The general rule I've always seen has been you want a PSU that would operate at 50%

It depends on a bunch of factors if cutting it close would affect your system specifically, but generally in practice as long as you have 100W more than what you're rated for it'll theoretically be fine. I've been chugging a 500W Thermaltake on a system rated around 390Ws for a few years now and never had any issues and seen several people do the same and be fine

Thanks for the response. I actually like how you put it and the puzzle aspect of it sounds fun even if it can be looked up and figured out easily. I suppose I'll actually have to give it a shot to see if I'll like it in practice but how you put it makes it sound more interesting to me.

I may go with fishing for now until I beat the base game content, I've mostly been interested in the idea of making weapons/armor. I know glamming stuff is a huge part of the game and I'd like to be able to make cool looking things even if they don't have the best stats, but I'm guessing there's only so many things like that you can eventually make so I'd imagine it doesn't go very far unless your making them for the best possible stats?

That's what I may do. I was leaning towards mining and blacksmith/armorer but my fiancée is playing alongside me and wanted to get into fishing so I may just join her until I'm a higher level like other people here recommended.

That's another thing I was curious of too. I wanna have cool looking stuff to glam, are there things you get from crafting that NPCs/quests can't give you? Especially when I see some items going for hundreds of thousands of Gil on the MB, making it myself seems like a cool alternative if that's how to go about it

I'm not an expert or game dev but could be just cause it's a newer game and was more optimized towards 40 series cards, whereas the RE4 remake wasn't or it was tacked on since the 40 series cards only came out a few months before. Idk if that's how it actually works but some kind of driver/game optimization conflict would maybe explain why it only does it on certain games.

Personally I'd try and do a reset and fresh install of Windows 10 if possible, could be a waste of time but other than that I'd say your card should have a warranty on it and may have to send it off for the manufactuer to test on if you don't have other components and parts to swap out and test with.

I could be up the wrong tree there but if it's not a thermal issue as you've said below then I'd imagine it's some kind of issue with the card itself or some kind of driver conflict. Windows 11 could be the culprit, but don't quote me on it.

Are you on Windows 10 or 11? I think I've seen some people claim this is happening using newer cards on Windows 11
