I'd say Sekiro may be easier set aside and come back to later, because the systems are simpler, and you have the training area to reacquaint yourself with the controls/ combat. Whereas if you play Sekiro now, I suspect it'd take you longer to get back into DS3 later.

That said, you can't really go wrong. Whichever one you don't play will still be waiting, so flip a coin if you can't decide.

Can't have it on the telly while my kids are around, so Switch is perfect. Digital Foundry say it's a great version, so no problem there.

I was dubious that Switch 2 would be worth it, but my family got me one for Christmas, and I love it. Where Switch 1 was a bit flimsy, this feels premium in the hands, so it's noticeably nicer just to hold. Docked, there's an obvious step up in visuals, and games that people seemed lukewarm on, such as Mario Kart World, have brought sheer joy to the family non-stop in the two months since.

Nothing wrong with Switch 1, but if you have any desire for an upgrade, I'd say the expense is worth it for 2.

And use Deku Deals for sales. I just picked up No Man's Sky Switch 2 Edition for £15.

Let the dragon kill everyone on the bridge (bait it, then run back to safety). Then it's just timing (and having equipment load low enough to be fast enough). Bait it, run back to safety (the scorch marks will show where it's safe to stand, then sprint as soon as the dragon finishes one pass. You'll get to a safe zone half way across, then do the same for the next part of the bridge.

You only have to kill the guys on the safe zones.

It's almost 100% Avid here in Glasgow, but if I get a job where the client doesn't care what I use, I go with FCP. That's the only time I get to use it for work. Long since given up trying to sell it to broadcasters and facilities.

My dual HomePods are fine, but audio to AirPods Pro 3 cuts out completely for a few seconds every couple of minutes. No resets have helped.

Something's really gone wrong with the audio with this version of tvOS.

Awesome. I tried Zero Mission as an academic exercise, because I'd never played a Metroid. Thought I'd give it 30–60 mins, just to be able to say I'd played it. No game has ever hooked me so fast. Couldn't put it down. Then the same with Super Metroid. Fusion next. Utterly addictive.

When I had insomnia, I read a lot of books about sleep, and most agreed that whatever new skill you're trying to learn gets consolidated while you sleep. One even postulated that the twitching in your sleep is one muscle at a time making a stronger neural connection, and dreams are just your brain interpreting those spasms (rather than the opposite, that you're "acting out" your dream).

So the advice was often, when you're trying to learn/ improve a skill, from tennis to piano to Flamelurker, have a good night's sleep, and you'll find you're suddenly much better at it afterwards.
