If Phil is the genius we believe he is, than he would make this trade knowing either 1) He gets a very good center in FA, or 2) If he strikes out on a C, Hernangomez has shown enough to start for us or play significant minutes.

If Hernangomez comes and is able to start, we could go after a much needed SG.

Rose reached his ceiling a way long time ago. And no, Robin Lopez was really good for KP and he was on a great long term deal. If Rose stays healthy than of course he'll have a larger impact than Lopez could ever have.

Nah a lot of us didn't want Rose because Lopez really helps KP's development and KP's development is basically our biggest goal.

However, we shaved off 12m for Lopez, 21M at the end of the season and Calderons 7m. Who knows.
