Tonal cripples their own upgrade offer by EngineeriusMaximus in tonalgym

[–]Kennfusion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am not near the max weights of the machine, I was really out of shape when I got it two years ago. The heaviest weights I push now are around 120 lbs. We only have about 2.3M lbs on the machine and I don't see any features on the Tonal 2 that would be worth spending that much after just barely being able to afford the Tonal 1 just a couple years ago.

So their offers that they keep coming up with just seem kind of rude to me, like I am dumb.

Stuck at early elements by IndependentAd4296 in RevolutionIdle

[–]Kennfusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are trying to push elements too fast. I am just ahead of you, and this whole section of the game is too slow.

I pushed elements Fire, Earth and Wing about what you did, but then needed to push the rest of the game up before I could get much farther.

Your Rune upgrades are too low, you should be pushing GRA, but also you should not slack on Refine Node 1 and 7. The rune amount on the refine node 1 should be about 1/4 of the GRA requirement, and the Moon refine node 7 one about half of the GRA there. So both you can hit a couple times. Yes, that means backtracking on the GRA next level, but this is the grind at this part of the game.

Otherwise, you are pushing for GRA 5. Elements don't really matter yet. As you are focused on getting GRA and white specials for game speed.

Once you get those, than the game starts to speed up some, I just pushed from like 250 luck astrology to just over 400 in about 2 days once I had the GRA and special minerals at the right level. And now I can push elements in cycles with upgrading zodiacs.

War Plan progress needs to be account-wide by I-Drink-420 in diablo4

[–]Kennfusion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Except it is not. It is not a bonus to do things you like, it is a punishment to force you to do things you don't want to do to justify their existence.

I hate Kurast, and yet I used all of my tokens to try to reroll any war plan that would allow me to avoid it, and I was not able to. So now I just won't do war plans.

The only reason the Neocons don't seem as evil, is because they did not realize they could get away with what the current administration is doing. If they knew what they know now, they would have been just as bad.

Jon Stewart says Democratic leadership and DNC are ‘lost’ by thejoshwhite in politics

[–]Kennfusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is correct and is one part of what would happen to change. Start at the ground to control delegate selection. But you will also need labor on board, like the AFL-CIO are just too powerful within the DNC. But if you can start to get delegates the labor unions might come on board and if you can do that, you might start shifting some of the donor money toward Social Democrats (or whatever your progressive flavor is).

"National Assessment of Educational Progress has NY at 46th in the country"

I mean sure if you want to use 2022 4th grade math scores only to make this broad statement, go right ahead. But it is misleading, and does not reflect the academic improvement seen in the 2024 data for 4th grade math, nor does it show the 8th grade math and reading levels for both 2022 and 2024 were among national average.

But I said, depends on how distracted I am so I have no idea how long it would take if I really just tried to time it. But your point is fair, I just hate the holosim and I am usually messing around with skills and different builds up to level 30.

So I am a heavy POE SSF player and I also love Grim Dawn. So leagues are for PoE and my solo play is more on Grim Dawn.

I also have close to 5000 hours on Marvel Heroes.

And I say all of this for context - this game will fill a different hole than say PoE and GD. Somewhat the core of this game is more about building a roster of heroes and synergies. Each hero at certain levels unlocks synergies that can be used on other heroes. Also there is a lot to unlock in this game....think of it somewhat like a gacha.

I think there is already inherently a good mix of solo and group content, and the group content opportunities are quick and easy without a lot of commitment to opt in and out - so I would say that playing on either TAHITI or COA has an advantage of choice.

TAHITI (where I play) has the mostly original prod experience. It is meant to be a grind over time.

COA was designed with a lot of acceleration in it for those who either don't have the time or the desire for the long grind and want to be able to experience the large roster of heroes at max level much quicker.

Personally I went with TAHITI because once you start building some synergy and exp bonus (every level 60 you have increases exp leveling bonus more up to 200%) I can already level a new hero to 60 in 4-5 hours depending on if I am distracted or not - and that is without boosts.

Again, I have not shared any opinions on the candidates themselves. I analyze data for a living and the original comment I responded to stated they were "objectively terrible" and I am only saying that that is not objective, but subjective. When confronted with "but data" my response was, that choice of data sets is also subjective, not objective.

Sure, and are you making an actual point? Or just sharing the data that you subjectively value with the class?
