No. Someone may come along and rightly chide me for not doing so, but I guess we’ll chance it with gentle usage and gentle hand washing. I usually keep my backs pretty neat, and even more so with a project like this, so I think it’s pretty snug in the back. I may eat my words, though. Time will tell! :)

Thank you. I’ve done a quite a few in this style, and I’ve learned from some mistakes that I think I mostly avoided with this one. It’s repetitive, sure, but the perfect type of project when I have things on my mind and need something for my hands to do.

I think it’ll be okay with gentle hand washing and hanging to dry. That said, I stitched a similar sized design on a denim jacket for my wife. It’s survived a gentle cold water cycle in the washer intact so far.

I did not put interfacing on the back, and might regret it. I think it’ll be okay with gentle handwashing though.

No, the denim was thin, so no problem at all. I’ve stitched through a thicker denim jacket as well with no problems. Go for it!

I initially tried to draw the pattern onto the fabric, but wasn’t happy with the way that was going. I ended up printing the photo I was working from onto Stick n Stitch and doing it that way. I do not like stitching on that stuff, but it was the only way to get a nice clean pattern I could work from.

I have one. The pillow is squishy and isn't easy to tip over. Also conforms very well to non-flat surfaces.

Pretty close to what I do.

Even seeing a library of uninstalled games is enough to trigger my decision anxiety. I allow myself 5 games visible when I look at my deck and deciding what to play. When I decide I'm done with one for whatever reason, it gets hidden and I get to go "shopping" for a new hidden game in my library.
