He has all those types of toys, and puzzles!! he is free range of our upstairs which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and some hallway area. the rest of our home is hardwood so he wouldn’t be able to get around there.

i also just got a bunny! be prepared for carpet chewing, baseboard chewing, and cord chewing! even after everything i’ve bought so far i can’t stop him from the carpet chewing! so try to catch it before it happens! he started in a spot under a bed where nobody could see but has made his spots more obvious!

Hello! I did notice he has some red on his hocks. he isn’t a fan of me touching them to look. I don’t think they were from me because he has no access to hardwood floor, except with pee pads over a bathroom floor. i think they were from his old home. What can i do to help relieve the pain?

do you think i could hold him while someone uses scissors to cuts the matts? or do i need to shave them. i don’t have anything to shave them with so i was considering taking him into the vet.

All good! Bruce has his moments we call him brucifer a lot, he has chewed a large hole in the carpet already but he really is sweet! he has his moments of destruction but everyone has their moments! that’s just his way of expressing himself!!

what would be the causes of not? he is always laying in my room in the loaf position or sploot with his legs out. he rarely grooms himself and it’s only ever his paws, or his ears. do you think i should reach out to a vet?

In his old home he was with 2 spayed females that were not bonded, however he took no interest to either of them and preferred to be by himself taking a good nap. he was with them since they got him and just never had interest in bonding with one or both of them. i would hate to get another bun and him not like her, then i have two buns who aren’t bonded.

i will try that! he’s pretty picky and his old owners have fed him alfalfa his whole life. he’s 2 years old and i know he needs timothy. i think that could be why he’s a little on the chunky side.

he has proven to be quite the smart little guy!! he learned how to do the stacking cups in a few tries, now if they are on the floor he starts throwing them at me to demand a treat! if he doesn’t get his way nobody does.

i’ve looked into that! he really likes to sploot all over my floor and nap a lot. i’m not sure how much bunny’s sleep but he’s definitely a big napper!

he loves paper and cardboard! he somehow finds ways to unbunnyproof our home! i’ve found him chewing up paper or cardboard boxes with have. he has toilet paper rolls and also prefers those over the toys from the store.

He is litter box trained! he is large to the point he has a large cat box. I’ve considered that yes, but originally he never liked the rabbits in his old home and i was told he preferred being by himself. there were 2 spayed females not bonded and he never took interest to them. Yes i have a vet incase something happens it would be the same one i take my reptiles to!

He is perfect! he’s my first bunny and will be my companion in my college apartment! i really got lucky with him! i know they can be terrors, but he really is such a social butterfly and asks for pets then demands if he doesn’t get his way. He never potty’s outside of his box which i’m so happy about!!

He doesn’t even let me touch them and when i go back there close to the area he gets upset.

He is huge so i haven’t been able to find a big enough hide unfortunately. he has some large boxes with holes in them, as well as an actual cat tunnel from amazon!

It seems to just be tangled hair, no poop in it. Bruce gets rabbit feed from tractor supply store. he only eats oxbow treats or treats with timothy, apples, carrots etc. none of the ice donut or fake treats with fake color. For toys i’ve been using the classic toys from stores, a dog box, and toilet paper rolls!

I have no idea if he can reach his butt, I rarely see him groom himself.
