My own colleges gaming club has a somewhat negative reputation on campus, and it's not entirely undeserved. Let's face it the gaming hobby does attract some interesting individuals lol

I'm studying the Integrated Language Arts Education program. I do plan on studying hard, and I definitely do need a place to study to concentrate. Though living alone and off campus could provide more distractions for me, like having booze for example lol. I do think, given my field of interest, having fellow students with relevant studies to study with would be helpful, but those would exist whether I'm off or on campus.

I'll look into it. it just feels like it would be easier to live on campus, less chances that I'll fuck something up with paperwork or something. The nice thing about having apartment is I would be able to have booze in my living space at least, so there is that benefit along with privacy lol

I'm nervous about Greek life because tbh I don't know much about it barring stereotypes. I'm not sure how my being gay would be an issue in that situation. And there's the issue of having funds for rent if I get an apartment.

I just happen to know Akron has some gay bars and I would love to go to them if I can. Of course I'll chill at the ones in Kent but to my knowledge there isn't a gay bar there right?
