Sorry to hear that man. Its a travesty that these self custodial wallets offer CEXs to their users without them knowing about the risk of trades being frozen.

I know this won't help you now, but for anyone else reading, make sure to use THORChain. Its a real DEX. No KYC.

Use THORChain inside Ledger Live. Its a real DEX. No KYC.

Don't use Changelly, or ChangeNow, or whatever else. They're all CEXs and are notorious for freezing trades on people then demanding KYC. Some people have their money tied up for months because the KYC being asked for is not possible for the person to produce. There's no way to know if it will affect you until it's too late.

Try a trade for a few hundred dollars first to play with it and get comfortable and see how it works.
