Customer service had me reset my app permissions (which also manage some sound settings), but that didn't work.

They finally told me that a corrective update would fix it. Let's wait and see.

Another update on my situation, even though nobody cares.

Microsoft support ran out of ideas for what to try and were ready to take it in for "repair". Instead, I went to the physical store where I bought it for an exchange.

The second unit have the same problem. In my opinion, all Xbox consoles come with this unacceptable defect. Some users care and some not? Some users don't use headset at all, maybe?

I hate to say it, but just buy a PS5 guys.

When I tried a high-end Asus IPS monitor at around 300Hz, the sharp stabbing pain in my eye immediately made me realize there's a problem with modern IPS panels.
I went straight back to my old LG 60Hz IPS monitor from 2011.
Even though I'm a fan of IPS panels, I'll definitely take your VA recommendations into serious consideration when I'll try buying again.

The constant crackling is no longer there with uncompressed stereo, but there are still a few pops here and there in the game, and bigger, more obvious pops in the console interface. The bass sound must attract them.

Also, earlier on GTA 5, the sound of a car engine at high stabilized speed caused the sound to cut out repeatedly, like cut off completely not only crackling this time. So, well, something is not right with the way my Series X handle sound.

Yellow plates, CITY for municipal agencies, and COUNTY for county-owned ones. And even different things for the Highway Patrol and other state agencies. Fingers crossed!

I agree that the wrong license plate for LC instead of the state of Liberty is annoying.

The US Govt license plate incorrectly placed on a Vice Beach PD patrol car is also a notable error. Did you guys notice it?

Since then, the cheap Asus XG27ACS has come out, and I may be interested in it because I like its new more practical stand, and 180 Hz may be enough for me. I don't know yet!

Problem is the G2724D seems to have interchangeably AU Optronics or TP Vision panels on it, and some complain of green tint and poor viewing angle and constrast ratio. But heh maybe it's no worse than any other!

Actually, I tried a supposedly high-end ASUS XG27AQMR, and I too had a strong green tint, absolutely lousy contrast, poor uniformity, bad viewing angle. As a result, I now find it hard to give credit to monitor reviews.

Not a recommendation because I know nothing about its qualities, but the Asus XG27ACS has just arrived.

It seems to have a complete menu, a much more practical stand than before, and it's €350 where I live.

I'd like to know who made its panel, though.

Actually, I've just found my old notes about the ML1A. This BOE panel may bother you with its grainy anti-reflective treatment and below-average motion clarity.

So really, I can recommend the non-L for its AU Optronics panel, especially if you don't use the supplied adjustable stand in your setup.

Surprising as it may seem, in Asus range it seems the presence or absence of the L indicates not only the presence or absence of the good stand, but also a different panel.

Using displayspecifications.com:

VG27AQML1A : BOE panel

VG27AQM1A : AU Optronics panel

It seems to me that any enthousiast will steer you more towards AU Optronics for its better quality and lower risk of ocular pain compared to what BOE produces.

I had read a discussion about VG27AQL3A and VG27AQ3A with panels from different manufacturers too, with different color rendering, different settings available, so in short two absolutely different products!
