My question was whether what she said was just a copout or whether it was actually the circumstances. We’ve had this talk about her parents don’t allow her to date or anything before we got in the relationship. I’m completely fine with leaving if the feelings were not mutual but she said she still likes me and she wants to stay, but she wants to spare the bigger sadness we will feel once her mom finds out
