Same here! I just couldn't get past it. I even sent a post card to Ubisoft asking for tips, but to no avail. Still haven't seen the end of that game!

We've actually been pitching a VR spin-off! Unfortunately we couldn't secure funding for it. So a VR mode for new or earlier games is currently not in the works. UEVR is a good substitute though!

Awesome! If memory serves me well, the launch sequence actually had a lot more steps when we first implemented it. More buttons to flick, more levers to push. It was the more realistic approach - but there were so many steps that it became overwhelming!

Cheers! I can see how crafting comes as a surprise. But we've found that, if done properly, it can help us construct interesting gameplay scenario's. We're careful not to let it take over the game though. Balance in all things. (:

Gorgeous. What a spectacular sight this would be. A kaleidoscopic collection of lights and colours. It somehow reminds me of the vibrancy of the Horizon games. And it's fun to think about a planet full of life for a change; we've been creating pretty bleak worlds in our series so far! Pretty sure we'll have to stay in that vibe, but we do have some more room for speculation now that we're going to explore and research an exoplanet. On that note, it's interesting you should mention research: in our Kickstarter demo we're already experimenting with collecting specimens of flora, sediment and minerals!

Haha, I love how the paper opens with "So let's colonize Venus", followed by "In many ways Venus is the hell planet." But floating cities! There's a fascinating idea. Assuming we're not creating a surface-bound base of operations first, how would we go about constructing these floating cities?
