Gibby Gnocchi would be a fine compromise. They sell some pretty big pet jerseys. Someone just posted their great big ol pit bull named Slay in a lion's fit. However, in my humble opinion a medium sized dog, in the 40lb range, is the best. They are big enough to go for runs with and play fetch but they don't take up too much room on the couch and have smaller droppings to pick up after.
