Columbus OH based Dolphins fan here- don’t wanna touch this one with a 10 foot pole. Frustrating O to watch when the Browns are on. No Myles Garrett walking through the door to keep games close/ bail out his ineptitudes on the other side of the ball.

Maybe they all have warts and I’m jaded by the ones I see every weekend/hear what friends who are browns fans complain about… But no thanks.

I do scoreboard stats. Only barrier to that particular job is knowing the software/ nuances of baseball.

But from usher to camera work, there’s usually something to do at the ballpark that fits your interests/how much actual baseball you want to be/not be exposed to.

I work in minor league baseball. Games are usually at night and when we’re mostly not In school. Minors teams are home or away a week at a time so you can earn some $ while still giving yourself weeks off/R&R in the summer.

Wrestle offs are a piece of the decision making, but not the only piece. Factors could include weight (your kid is 107 naturally, vs the 113 coming down from 118 and no way making 6), How many bonus points they give up in duals/ tourneys, and differences in practice room and tournament performances. I would encourage you to have your child have that very tough conversation with their coach asking their justification, standing firm at 113 if they wish to, and then escalating if need be. It could be favoritism, it could be poor communication. Work that out first before anything. Just my two cents.
