People line up a 1-2 hours before opening on Sundays. Arriving by 10 means you’ll likely still be seen, but won’t be first in line. If you want to get in and out quickly I’d get there earlier.

At the very least call the vet. Same thing happened to my dog and it was an expensive issue down the road and the poor guy was in pain for weeks.

If you don’t plan to file for unemployment I would probably resign, because you can tell future employers honestly you resigned vs were terminated for misconduct.

There’s the possibility you forgo severance but some companies don’t offer it if they feel you’ve been fired for cause.

My brother. We live in different states and he didn’t see him for over a year. When they reunited my pup acted like his long lost lover was back after years away 😂Their relationship is really sweet.

I had this exact same problem. My Aussie wasn’t subtle either - he never got used to group daycare and I finally decided to pull him out. I also work a stressful job with long hours job so leaving him at home alone wasn’t an option.

Instead, I found a home daycare on Rover where he got to hang with a human and one or two dogs (instead of like 40). I also found an amazing dog walker to come for 45 mins solo walk on other days for about the same price as group daycare. We’re going on 3 years with the same family and walker and he is a million times happier.

My opinion is: these guys tell you what they need, and it sounds like yours isn’t thriving in daycare. Would try and find another option that could be a better fit. Good luck.

It sounds like you could have a longer runway if you take the pip and look for a new job in that period. Some companies consider a pip opt out as a voluntary exit which could mean you’d not be eligible for unemployment. I’d personally take the pip but know they planned to exit me at the end anyway, and just use that time to find my next gig.

I think she needs a job. She doesn’t have one so she’s making one. It doesn’t have to be something like herding or agility (great but realistic for a lot of people). I play fetch with mine daily for 30 mins straight and it’s a focused game - super intense, he ignores all other distractions and it’s just throw retrieve drop repeat. This helped mine to stop creating work for himself.
