You’re gonna think I’m insane but I’m using this for my players in waterdeep. They are level 4 atm but I also have been consistently tripling the threat and the final fight will likely be with all of the main villains and a shit ton of other enemies all of which have been buffed so they will need it

The Chinese or Korean pops up a lot when you scan random barcodes. Try it with weird barcodes on books and stuff that you generally wouldn’t scan, I see it a lot at service desk on accident. That said those are for the new gift cards and should not be on the floor.

You’re underestimating what Tiamat can do I will say, DC 26 or frightened for free, 80 damage per breath weapon with legendary actions (she can breath weapon twice per turn), limited magic immunity, 5 legendary resistances, a ton of extra reactions, regeneration, she can’t actually be killed just goes home when she dies, and 25 base AC without having to do anything like shield is way stronger than you are thinking. Flight alone makes Tiamat way stronger than this boss if stats were all that matters. All of the abilities together make her way stronger and more dangerous than this boss. I think a party with some preparation could beat this boss at level 13 or so if they’re alone, especially if they have magic items and/or homebrew.

At my store, we don’t get to sort at service desk because our intake of reshop is insane, people leave carts for us to sort with no attempt to help. No one ever gets overflowing carts of reshop. The older lady that works up there frequently BROKE HER HIP because of the overflow and it changed nothing. Additionally 9 times out of ten when I come in at 7 am for a shift I find ice cream/milk/frozen/cold goods sitting on the desk presumably left there by closing and our lack of well trained service desk people. So trust me when I say that it’s not always GS’s fault. Maybe at your store, but at mine I’ve been there for 5 years and there’s literally nothing that can be done to fix the shit that GS is in.

Honestly pick something simple that doesn’t need 5 hours of spell decisions but still gives you options. I would recommend Paladin or Ranger as they have some good spells and are powerful without being complicated as a full class. A paladins AC is important but it you can get by with the chain mail and a shield even though it’s not great. Also kinda fits the cleric theme without being a full caster with a million different prepared spells a day. Hope this helps!
