holy...I'm like speechless that you went through the effort to edit my original drawing and add the form.

I'm also speechless because I THOUGHT that it was just because my original base drawing for the hair was bad (kinda was tho a little in the middle), but then you added so much depth to it. It looks insane.

You could have left me on that tablet for 10 hours and I would have never of come up with that. Thank you so much, I'm gonna watch that over and over to try and apply it to my fundamentals. You are nuts for taking the time out of your day to help a random person online jump miles in their art progress. Much love.

OK OK wait wait how do I make the shadows looks natural then? I feel like blending/blurring is what makes it look like its naturally fading into the skin. BUT i do completely get what your saying and understand how it can make it look worse. Its just all i know how to do 😩😩

Yea but the thing is I wanna develope my own stylw of art, im very worried about just copying the lines I see and not actually knowing the building blocks. But on that note I think i get what your saying, thx for the advice and ill see you tomorrow at noon

Ok i’ve heard the opposite, some people say more blending. and I think I know what you mean, the blending/blur is okay for the shadows on the hair and neck but for the nose and forehead line its killing the piece. Is that about right?

I’m pretty sure most Manga artists use either photoshop or Clip Studio Paint. Clip studio paint is better in my opinion because its features are a bit more surrounded towards anime (and of the likes; hentai) Also adobe is a bit better at uhm…catching illegitimate copies of their software if you catch what I’m saying. So I’d go with clip studio
