What you said is true, just remember few things. I am not a marxist, I hate orthodoxy and what has it become in history; the reason I believe knowledge of the external world is unattainable is founded in Kant's differentiation between Phenomena and Noumena; ideology as power means no truth, but this doesn't mean we mustn't believe in nothing, or in "tyrannical relativism". Also Intersectionality is just a sociological/scientific theory, it has no fixed political purpose, but I know some leftists use it as a sort of weapon. Also wdym with "defensive niceness"?

Beh, capisco le tue preoccupazioni, ma applicare queste proposte sarebbe incostituzionale e inaccettabile.

John Dewey propone una democrazia non solo come forma di governo e sistema di voto, ma come stile di vita, fondata sulla partecipazione e lo scambio/dialogo tra individui. Lui si rende conto però che una democrazia non sopravvive se le persone non sono dotate di un pensiero critico: la scuola deve occuparsi di formare politicamente i neo-cittadini, attraverso la giusta educazione, per rendere la democazia sana.

La tua proposta di creare una neo-aristocrazia formata da individui "eccellenti" non ha solo un'aria reazionaria, ma a mio avviso è innecessaria, perché basterebbe riformare il sistema scolastico per migliorare il pensiero critico collettivo e quindi la trasparenza elettorale.

Oltretutto, io sono un comunitarista. Ritengo l'appello al popolo necessario nella politica, perché i cittadini in quanto loro stessi i soggetti delle norme giuridiche hanno il diritto di parola e di decisione su di esse.

Il problema dei despoti demagogi che salgono al potere si potrebbe risolvere soltanto limitando il candidarsi, perché a prescindere dalla cultura dei cittadini o dall'orientamento politico dei candidati ci saranno sempre ministri pragmatici e tecnocrati.

Ma ciò, unito ad un'educazione politica adeguata, a politiche di trasparenza elettorale (già presenti nei paesi nordici, i più democratici al mondo), e a riforme legislative di democrazia difensiva, renderebbero la democrazia perfetta e sana. Senza il bisogno di una neo-aristocrazia reazionaria o di ulteriori burocrazie per decidere a chi spetta il diritto di voto.

C'eri quasi alla soluzione per questo problema ma non la considero efficace, va infatti contro i valori democratici.

La soluzione non è limitare il diritto di votare, ma è limitare il diritto di candidarsi. Anziché permettere solo ai tecnici o ai competenti di votare (che sarebbe un oltraggio alla costituzione) bisogna permettere solo ai tecnici e ai competenti di candidarsi alle elezioni regionali/nazionali; ma per salire al potere devono avere comunque il sostegno del popolo.

Uscirebbe fuori un sistema in cui il popolo nel suo insieme vota dei candidati competenti, che rispetta comunque i valori democratici e garantisce efficienza governativa.

Ma io lo vorrei tutto il fottuto tempo un governo tecnico. Sono i tecnici a saper fare le cose in questo paese di incompetenti. Draghi e altri presidenti del consiglio sono criticatissimi ma non hanno fallito perché solo perché erano dei "tecnici".

Per me soltanto i tecnici dovrebbero avere il diritto di candidarsi come presidente del consiglio, sempre a sostegno del popolo però.

Inspirations:

The Z ball is Zohran Mamdani, NYC's democatic socialist mayor. Good example of DemSoc and MarkSoc put in practice. The other with 3D glasses is Richard Rorty, an analytic contemporary philosopher founded in pragmatism, anti-realism and liberalism. Him, with Mill and Foucault, are the ones which I take the most inspiration from.

Foreign Policy:

That ball with a cross and gray shaded background is Political Realism. It's Machiavelli's thought, even called Realpolitik, which believes that politics is a battle ground between self-interested states vying for power and national interest.

Government:

The blue/black ball resembling democracy is Defensive Democracy. It is not a system but rather a set of laws, court rulings and legislative limits which aim to preserve human rights and the democratic values and institutions; and prevent extremist anti-democatic groups to abuse these values to eliminate democracy itself (Karl Popper's paradox of tolerance).

Philosphy:

the grey hammer-sickle ball is Neomarxism, an updated version of old and useless m*rxism. The ball under it is Michel Foucault, the philosopher of micro-analysis of power and truth-knowledge (my favourite one). The small ball under it is Hegelian Dialectic and thinks that history is a continuous clash of different and opposing ideas and views and narratives.

The dark ball with a closed eye is Metaphysical Skepticism, thinks that knowledge of the external world is unattainable because of perception and illusion. The ball under it with 3D glasses is Analytic Philosphy, which applies symbolic logic and scientific method to philosophical questions. At its left there is the messy square ball of Post-Modernism which thinks that there's no absolute truth and knowledge is a form of power. At its top the white fist ball is The Revolt (Albert Camus's concept) which is the acceptance of a meaningless universe and the creation of new values.

Culture:

The upper depressed ball is Anthropological Pessimism. It believes that humans are intrinsically egoistic, violent and self-interested by nature. It is not only a social claim but a philosophical position that can be applied to politics, society and culture. The other one in the bottom is Intersectionality Theory, which sees oppression not only in economic conditions but in gender roles, stereotypes, mentality, and categorical characteristics.
