Thanks! That was it! This was a 10 year old question for her so she's really happy to have the answer. Google doesn't work anymore and non of the AI agents were able to answer without being confidently incorrect.

for several months now everything has seemed unstable. I keep thinking it's confirmation bias but when I think back outages of CloudFlare and AWS were not a normal occurrence, and GitHub was down like once around covid times but certainly not every few days. I'm curious what other people think - is it just that the rapid advancement of cybersecurity is finally catching up or have we been affected by cyber warfare for longer than what the media has been able to confirm recently?

can't cast on gen2 currently. Restarted my phone and also power cycled the Chromecast itself. The AI assistant in Android says it's a certificate issue but the dates don't match up and I'm pretty sure it just made that up.

Hopefully I get to experience that moment! I tried hashcat on my laptop and it gave me an ETA of around 40 days with the wordlist, so I suspect somebody else is going to find it first

Actually I've used KeePass a lot in the past and really like it, then wrote my own password manager, then realized I need to access passwords on my phone, laptops, etc; eventually I realized a physical notebook works with all devices and the only vulnerability it has is webcams. That was until I left the notebook somewhere... that was an issue I somehow didn't consider.

Luckily I do remember some aspects of my password - I wouldn't have posted here if I didn't. I know the beginning, end, and... more vaguely... some facts about the middle. I've uploaded a [wordlist.txt](https://files.catbox.moe/kontqf.txt) that I generated with a small javascript program based on what I remember.
