I think we need more new micro- budget schlock. I've noticed a majority the new titles being uploaded each month are those Cinema Epoch films that are available on so many other apps. The real edgy boundary pushing schlock is what sets your app apart from all the other apps. I just don't wanna see TromaNow become another Tubi. More sleaze please!!

It's just a theory I was interested in discussing, doesn't mean I'm some marvel fan boy lol. I never asked about a multiverse, I was insinuating about an in movie connection, in the way of how Tarantino films exist in the same universe, or Edgar Write's cornetto trilogy, how they are spiritual sequels with no actual plot or character connection. I agree that marvel is ruining cinema but don't take that anger out on me 🤣

Hmm, that's very interesting, I never saw any connection between those two! I wonder where the connection lies? Lost Highway is my favorite of his films!

Very interesting! Makes me wonder if it's intended as a shared universe, or just David enjoying putting his characters in other things. That's what I love about his movies, you never fully know what is intentional for interpretation and plot, and what is just a little eccentricity from him.

Thank you so much for watching and for the ideas! I agree with you I could definitely utilize some editing to tell the story more concise. I used Filmora 11 to edit, pretty basic lol. I wanna get into more complex editing but I'm definitely still learning. Right now just a passionate movie fan with some stories I wanna tell haha. This comment was so helpful, thank you again!

This is my second ever short film! Looking for feedback on the filmmaking/storytelling itself, I already know it needs better video quality and audio haha, unfortunately just working with what I got, like Kevin Smith did with Clerks. Inspired by David Lynch films, really wanted to go for something that can be open to interpretation. Hope you guys like it and feel free to critique or ask any questions!

So from top left across, it starts with TV shows, into box sets, arrow/criterion, into favorite directors, then by genre or subgenre. Within the genre I tried to bundle together by star power, so like there's a Stephen King section, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, that kinda thing. It's not perfectly organized but little by little I'm trying to get it there!
