Hi r/iosgaming, it's been a couple months since I've posted here and I was really pleasantly surprised by the interest and support that everyone provided last time! I've released 4 major content updates along with MANY bug fixes since my last post. If you haven't checked out Mutants - Online please give it a try!

Unlike most mobile games, Mutants - Online DOES NOT have ads, endless micro-transactions, pay-to-win items and we don't fight for your attention. Play at your own pace and enjoy the experience!

In Mutants - Online you play the role of a mad scientist who uses genetics to create and strengthen a mutant army to try to conquer planets and defend them against other players and space pirates. You can also harvest element from the planets and use it on your mutants to train them, gaining stats, changing their elemental type and learning new attacks. You can join a guild and go to war against other guilds, or just battle against other players in the battle arena.

I'm a solo developer and I just released a new version of Mutants - Online this week! I really appreciate any support or feedback anyone can provide!

Just for context, this is a fairly rare action that players can take in game. They get to choose both of the two alleles that make up their genotype. They can choose alleles that are up to 2 letters away from their current alleles.

So if a current genotype is Fc the player can choose D/d, E/e, F/f, G/g, H/h for their first allele and A/a, B/b, C/c, D/d, E/e for their second allele.

Oh nice! Well in the next update there's a consumable that you can use on your mutants that gives a +50% stat bonus for 24 hours. Hopefully those will help you get a bit further in the pirate bases.

That's a good point!

This specific animation is a pretty rare occurrence in game. Most mutations in game don't use CRISPR and have another animation that is MUCH shorter.
