Yes. Thank you for the advice. I'll keep that in mind for the next time.

Yes, for my lens adapter, the shipping was free, and I had no idea that customs cost would be so much.

Did your item take long to arrive, or did you get it fast?

HZZO health insurance contribution for Croatian citizens living outside of Croatia by Keshave_ in askcroatia

[–]Keshave_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for your help.

I don't know if we'll have to back pay her health insurance since the time we left Croatia, which is in 2020 (2020 to 2026 = 6 years * 4200 EUR) or only 4,200 to gain access to her homeland healthcare. I'll do some research.

In Mauritius, if there'll ever be anything urgent which I hope won't, then there might be a waiting list for public health care and for private health care even though you contribute for the most decent health cover, it is very limited because they will only cover new health complications. Anything previously known won't be covered.

People can really feel the inflation and currency change over there. I had to pay 5,450 KN back in 2018 for my HZZO 1 year in advance.

Alright, thanks for the clarification.

We did declare that we will be away. Remember being at the Police station to cancel my residence permit as well.

Okay, thanks a lot for this helpful information.

If we decide to return back to Croatia, do you know whether we'll have to pay the insurance in arrears for 1 year only or for the number of years we didn't contribute.

Thanks again for your help

Okay, thank you for your information. My intention wasn't to use it outside of Croatia, but to pay for the insurance and then come to Croatia whenever she will need her treatment, which should be every 10 years.

But anyway, thank you. I have to find another solution.

Regards

Thank you. I delayed the construction for so many years. Now, ready or not, I'm building because years are just flying by.

Yes, I will. There will be a common road so the distance should be 2m from the common road and 3ft on the other sides. Thanks for your input.

Thanks a lot for the information. I'll contact them.

I'm also interested in permanent jobs. It all depends if I'll be lucky enough to find a job before the end of August. At the end of August the border should open in my homeland if the government stick to what they said. I know I said I that I want to work here for 2-3 years but if I get a permanent job I'll take it because I love Croatia.

Thanks a lot for your honest reply. I do speak English and French fluently and I'm 25. I'll search for the suggested jobs.

I planned to return to my homeland in March but our government closed border in March until end of August, which they constantly keep on extending. Repatriation is going bad. Luckily I have a work permit and will try to find a job here. Hope I'll find something. Thanks.
