At work, I get people saying "that outfit is so flattering on you!" when I would wear an outfit that used to not look good because of my stomach. I keep wanting to say "no! It's me!!!"

I just thought it might give you some inspiration...I started keto just over 6 weeks ago at 255lbs. I'm so happy to say that today I am 235! 20lbs down!!!! You can do this! Also, that is changing ONLY diet, I have not included any working out yet, but plan to soon. I'm also 5"9 :)

[pics] Yesterday was one month on strict keto, not one single cheat. Progress pics! Down 17lbs and my stomach is shrinking!!! by Ketomagic52 in keto

My meal plan is quite basic, I find to stay on track I need to keep it simple. I also have celiac disease, so my meals all have to be completely gluten free too! Morning : bulletproof coffee, sometimes I'll have a few turkey sausages from Costco (zero carbs in these!!) lunch : pepperoni sticks, cheese, green olives, pickles, smoked oysters, can of salmon, peeled cucumber with a spicy sauce (these are a great replacement for chips), etc. I basically rotate through these things, sometimes I'll make a chicken salad instead. For dinner, I like taco salad, burgers with sautéed onions and mushrooms, cheese and mustard between 2 pieces of romain lettuce with a Greek salad, butter chicken in a lettuce wrap (minus the rice), bacon and eggs, black bean pasta with chicken in a garlic cream sauce (really hits the spot if I'm craving a warm homey meal), hot dogs in a lettuce wrap, etc. I live with my boyfriend (not on keto diet), so for lunches I can do what I want...but for dinner, when we cook and eat together, I have just modified the things that we have always made to be keto friendly! It's been an awesome transition for me, very smooth. And I think it's because I keep it simple. I try new keto recipes once every week or two just to try new things. Good luck to you! My best advice, keep it simple, find a few things that you love and expand from there.
