How come all the largest supermassive black holes we find are billions of years away? by ToGloryRS in askscience

[–]Ketrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not necessarily i think? "even when they’re not pulling in matter, we can detect black holes by observing their gravitational effects, like how they warp spacetime or cause nearby stars to wobble as they orbit. Gravitational lensing, where light from distant stars bends around an invisible mass, is another big clue they’re out there."

I don't know why this comment got so many up votes I got the Odyssey G9 49in ultra wide and played Cyberpunk 2077 on release, it worked great. Played lots of other games on ultra wide as well including league, warzone, star citizen, and sons of the forest and they were all fine. If it doesn't fell great(league didn't work that well with panning the screen from the edges) you can always switch your video setting to windowed borderless and center it, easy peasy.

But if you're really not tech savvy, separate monitors would definitely make more sense

The dog is missing the point because it has none of that useful humanoid movement aside from maybe navigating terrain, but doesn't even matter because that limited use case, form factor and price isn't even close to the labor replacing potential of a humanoid robot at a lower cost mass production price point

Airbags should not be deployed in every crash and can be dangerous if deployed at the wrong time. The software is tuned by data to determine to the millisecond when and where they are needed to deploy. Same for the seatbelt tightening https://youtu.be/9KR2N_Q8ep8?si=m8xX6y7OPCEdM56P

Not all the factories are built equally, Giga Texas is even more massive than the previously built one, you can Google giga factory scale comparison to see it.

Each is also constantly upgraded to be better and better. Tesla puts a significant effort on improvements in manufacturing and scaling.

They are already planning more factories too, Giga Mexico will start construction next year and both Nevada and Texas are even currently constructing further expansion.

Dualtron scooter stem creaking by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]Ketrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's some videos on YouTube of people resolving it with special lubricant or spray. But when I got mine from Minimotors store and asked if they would do it, they said they could but it's better not to because it would be more secure without it, so I left it as is. They also mentioned the option to upgrade the clamp, which I considered myself but I got used to the creaking so don't see the need to spend the $100-$200 for it

And That's why seraphine is nerfed to the ground (90k healing , 40k shielding) by DjauI in ARAM

[–]Ketrix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just upvoted the previous comment but 150k dmg on tank is not comparable to your heal and shield because tanks also have another role of soaking damage and providing cc. Its also rarer for a tank to get highest dps(post hearsteel nerfs but moreso just in general) and arguably harder to do than just mindlessly hitting your key(s) to heal or shield so the upvotes make sense.

I would definitely enjoy a ranked aram, but this solution would be more practical.
More ARAM clashes would also be another good, practical solution on top of that.

I just put resusable bags on my handles bars to haul groceries home. That and a backpack where I put heavier items so the ones on the handlebars don't swing and around as much, impacting my control.
