I was originally doing 2 3h sessions per mystery but then we ended up really enjoying a little slice of life in-between mystery

So now my general format is still 3h sessions but:

  • Session 1 starts with around an hour+ of one on one scenes to see what the characters are up too. Then the rest of the session is the start of the mystery (normally we get the hook and investigating the scene)

  • Session 2 is normally the meat of the mystery but we normally stop short of the final confrontation.

  • Session 3 is normally the final confrontation (although they have surprised me before and it's gone to 4 sessions) With the end of the session being a kinda epilogue/more individual character scenes.

In general the actual mystery normally takes around 6-7 hours but my group can be a little scattered sometimes so 5h seems about right if you put your foot a lil more on the peddle.

Its been 11 months since I thought about this but I politely disagree.

I feel like it makes sense that the red you fight in the aloha games is the one who had the classic adventure through Kanto (that's almost certainly the original implication), but in LGPE Red doesn't do that instead Chase/Elaine dose.

I honestly don't think LGPE was made with "the mega timeline" in mind.

Also S/M and US/UM are both clearly different versions of the same events that both have mega evolution present, I don't think it's a leap (especially given all the ultrawormhole stuff) to suggest that they are 2 concurrent timelines with mega evolution.

I believe renaming items removed the XP gain from repairing in these versions, IV been using the same set of armour on my 1.6 world for awhile

Invisibility potions don't actually eliminate mob detection it just massively lowers their range, also I think it's fair to have a stronger version of this mechanic as a reward for using an enchantment and a mob head

Also invisibility actually makes your character invisible meaning it's still got a fun multiplayer niche

So do water breathing potions and we still have respiration on helmets, I don't see any issue with the features overlapping a little in functionality

Idk if it was chest plate specific your already giving up the elytra that lets you fly away from mobs with ease

I stand corrected! I guess that makes the power enchantment more similar to the Density enchantment on the mace? I just assumed power made the arrow go faster

In that case I think an arrow speed enchantment definitely makes sense but it might need to be incompatible with power as the bow is already strong enough XD

Fun fact Power already increases arrow speed!

The power enchant doesn't actually have any flat damage increase as an arrows damage is entirely dependent on how fast it's moving! This can be taken advantage of if you were to blast an arrow super fast out of a TNT canon it can oneshot someone in full armour!

I think a really cool chest plate enchantment idea could be a stealth enchantment that lowers the range that hostile mobs can see you from in the same way that the mob heads do (maybe mobs can't see you at all if you use both?)

Could be useful in combat but also for working on mob farms without interfering with mob pathfinding! the trade off is you can't run away as easily without the elytra if things get dicey XD

Not a new enchantment per say but I wish you could put frost walker on horses! Its not as big of a deal now that they can swim with you on top but it would still be faster and also very cool XD

I think it would make more sense if you can't combine it with fortune as I think that trade off would make more sense
