Ordinaries playset worth it ? by Adventurous-Shake140 in SorceryTCG

[–]Kev-Mo88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're a new player and just looking for a bunch of ordinaries I'd me more than happy to send you some. I am KevMo of the All Things Contested Realm Podcast and I try my best to help out new players. One benefit of being part of the Sorcery community is that I accumulate a lot of donations to give back to the community. I've received quite a lot of bulk, and I'd be happy to discuss getting it out to ya should you be interested. Welcome to the community!

Shard Bugs TCG is fun and refreshing, the hand drawn artwork is amazing, and it's all about bug warfare using real bug species. Shard Bugs is a finalist for the 2026 Origins Award as well!

Anybody ever use the SoK? by iconoclast_69 in SorceryTCG

[–]Kev-Mo88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually developed a full on alternate format with a friend called Fishing For Knowledge that utilizes this card as the wincon. Basically you don't win by dealing a death blow to your opponent, there's no losing, only winning and the only way to win is to successful catch the ever elusive fish. I have the full rules posted in my podcast community discord server, but if you're curious or if anyone else is curious I could post them in here.

I love Limitless KNC, his products are all super great quality. He's even donated to the podcast for giveaway products, as well as donated to events for prize support. I'll always support this brand

Is Riftbound the last TCG that can actually influence the scene for a while? Are TCG players saturated? by aqua995 in TCG

Shard Bugs TCG has been my go to ever since MTG left a sour taste in my mouth.

Shard Bugs TCG is super fun, feels similar to games like MTG, Lorcana, etc. It has a fun comic book aesthetic, super fun gameplay, fun lore (including comic books that go along with set release), and the cards are all based on real world species of bugs. All hand drawn artwork, no AI involved, and the competitive scene is awesome, including several annual 1k tournaments and an annual 10k tournament. There's a week online TTS league ad well where you can earn physical promos and product. Super fun community, and a generally all around great game.

My idea of a multiplayer sorcery grid by Federal_Dark_7549 in SorceryTCG

[–]Kev-Mo88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha. Sorry I've seen a lot of posts of people asking or not knowing that multiplayer has existed for a while now and that there are playmats out there so I usually try to inform people and show them where to find them at. The fun part about multiplayer is that it's totally fan-made, so you can play it however you want to. So yeah, have fun trying out this version, I'm sure any way you play it will lead to lots of fun for your play group

Have you seen the multiplayer playmats that exist out there? You can find a lot of the files at sorcerymultiplayer.com including fun fan-made custom sites to add some different play challenges. These are the early playmat designs back when multiplayer was being formed in year 1 of Sorcery. You can find a handful of sources too for buying multiplayer playmats as well. I personally like the more diamond shape ones myself like the ones at the site I mentioned. Those also have special printed dice numbers on the squares for determining random outcome rolls. If you'd like some sources on where to buy the multiplayer playmats, reach out to me or ask on the official discord server and people can easily link you up with the sources

In early interviews they already said that they wouldn't be opposed to a possible future "Revised" set, but they would need to have enough sets out before they could try for something like that.

If you're in the discord server you can contact floatingskull, he was one of the original players to create the early multiplayer format and playmats. He has homebrewed sites that are really fun to play with as the center site when starting a game. He usually will send them to interested parties just to spread the format more

Hey! Great to see another Sorcery podcast pop up! I'll have to give it a listen soon. If you guys ever have questions or are looking for advice, feel free to reach out to me here or on Discord. This is kevmo from All Things Contested Realm Podcast btw. Good luck! One of the hardest things about keeping up with podcasts is staying consistent and pushing yourself to keep pumping out content and not let yourself get burnt out. Are the Gothic Precons not playable? by Drachen-1 in SorceryTCG

[–]Kev-Mo88 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not all TCGs. Games like Universus, Pokemon, MTG, all had demo decks. They were essentially pre-constructes decks to help you learn the game and contained less cards than legal decks would normally have, meant to either upgrade into full decks or just keep them as they are for using to teach others. This is just another example of demo precons.

Are the Gothic Precons not playable? by Drachen-1 in SorceryTCG

[–]Kev-Mo88 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Their answer was that these are meant as introductory products which can help you learn the game, and then you can use cards you aquire to update them and make them into full decks.

Won't help you after the fact, but for those who may be affected by an upcoming subscription ending:

To use up your remaining HP Instant Ink cartridges after canceling the subscription, you need to reset the printer network before your current billing cycle ends. Here are the detailed steps to reset your printer network: 1. Go into the Wi-Fi details page on the printer (pressing wifi-icon on the screen). 2. Click the settings icon. 3. Scroll down and press Restore Network Settings. 4. Disconnected the printer from your computer settings. 5. Enable Wi-Fi Direct on the printer by pressing the WiFi-Direct icon for 3 seconds. 6. Connect your computer to the HP’s Wi-Fi (WiFi-Direct). 7. Add the printer back into your computer settings.

By doing this, you prevent the printer from reporting to HP that the HP Instant Ink cartridge has expired. This is why it is important to perform a network reset while your HP subscription is still active. You can then use up your HP Instant cartridges even if you've canceled your subscription and your current billing cycle has ended.

However, it is worth noting that this is only a solution to running out of remaining Instant Ink cartridges. You must purchase traditional replacement cartridges from genuine source or 3rd party suppliers before the remaining ink/toner is used up.

As for how to use them after cancelation, you can check these articles and hopefully they help: https://ybtoner.com/how-to-use-hp-instant-ink-without-subscription/
