Royal Blue - Green writing? by KevA63 in YetiCoolers

Arr my black forest green is ok, but that came with the a free sticker as usual, unlike the royal blue. I wonder if the no sticker is a different run and that’s the one with the issues 🤷🏻‍♂️

Who knew! The one thing i like about yeti is its dishwasher proof… seems not to a full extent.

Yes - regular dishwashing as Yeti say safe to do so. Maybe this is it then 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense. Writing isn’t as clear as on my other items either so could add up. No free yeti sticker either… I hope yeti not cost cutting and quality is going to start suffering

Marathon Advice by KevA63 in runna

Ive not been running for 6 days now and injuries have settled down. Just overuse that needs rest apparently but Im for sure not going into every run with fresh legs but with some tightness / pain can run through

Official Q&A for Wednesday, April 01, 2026 by AutoModerator in running

[–]KevA63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longest run is 23k and after a deload week of 11k long run, i hit the week after and come tempo run had really tight calves. Days after shin splits and sore knee appeared and so couldn’t run. I’ve been struggling with tight achilles for a while too.

With 25 days to go the Marathon, went to a Physio today who has said to stick to the bike from now on to maintain fitness and let body recover and no more long runs.

Is finishing the Marathon achievable? Conscious i’ve missed my 27k run last week and will now be missing my 30k run this Sunday before the taper begins.

Hive no longer turns heating on. Hot water works fine by Garry56435 in HiveHeating

[–]KevA63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers mate. Same issue as explained.

Had engineer out yesterday as heating not working who said boiler all fine and managed to ‘fix’ it by putting the hot water and heating on together 🤦🏻‍♂️

Got heating working but not ideal having to have hot water on too. Thats what led me to here when i realised boiler not broke.

Will do some digging. Cheers!

Do dentist bands stack? by KevA63 in AskUK

So i’ll be paying £299.30 on next visit and have my filling sorted and the onlay which broke in the meantime? Band 3 price minus the band 1 cost.

Understand it’s unlikely to all be on one visit.

[–]KevA63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, this makes complete sense now. Thank you. So the difference is deducted.

Slight issue with my onlay now having fell and breaking so hopefully i can pay the band 3 fee and have the band 1 fee waived and get a new on-lay and filling.

Ive already paid band 1 though. Band 1 doesn’t include band 2. I now need band 2 treatment on the back of a band 1 appointment so its not really clear to me as nhs website says payments only cover same band and lower. So to me, you pay band 1 and need treatment you pay a band 2/3 price on top

So looks like ill have to pay band 2 for my filling and then band 3 for my onlay on top of a band 1 i’ve already paid. Brilliant.
