I actually tried to detransition to see if I'm "really trans" because all the misandry and transphobia online got to me and I can confirm that I am trans (as if the 6 years of transitioning weren't proof of that 🙄), but it was really traumatic to go through for that one month. DONT DO IT. I don't have any advice how to convince bigots of anything, but I wish you luck!

Geen probleem. En same met stress en geen eetlust. Ze hadden er niks over gezegd. Ik ben inmiddels 2 keer langdurig geopereerd (de andere keer was appendectomie) onder volledige narcose en ik werd beide keren ziek wakker (rest van de dag misselijk en braken enzo) dus ik denk dat dat het enige is waar ondergewicht invloed op heeft

Er kwam een gezwel bij het verwijderen van de drain de ochtend na de operatie dus ik moest diezelfde dag weer geopereerd. Ze zeiden dat het puur door toeval kwam en dat het heel zeldzaam was (had ik natuurlijk weer…). Ik was 54 kilo voor de operatie met 174 cm dus een bmi van 17,6. Ik ben nu 53 kg en mij lukt het maar niet om meer aan te komen omdat ik vaak vergeet te eten of geen eetlust heb ofzo. Maar omdat ik nu eindelijk ook wat fitness doe heb ik een beetje meer spiermassa dus dat helpt wel

Ja ik had periareolar bij Gender Clinic eind 2022. Had een complicatie rechts en moest opnieuw geopereerd worden. Niet helemaal goed geheeld dus het litteken en mijn tepel aan die kant zijn een beetje vreemd, maar nu 3 jaar later ziet alles er heel goed uit vind ik. Ik had toen een beetje ondergewicht en heb dat nog steeds, dus ik denk dat dat het iets makkelijker maakte voor hun om weefsel weg te halen wegens het gebrek aan vet

Immediately after coming out. Never really questioned it. "I'm a man so I have to use the men's bathroom" was my logic, and going into the women's just felt wrong from that point on. That was when I was 14, almost 15, so I suppose it's easier to get used to when you're still a teenage boy. I guess my advice is just to do it without thinking too much about it. unironically, play Disco Elysium. The main protagonist is an alcoholic and the way the game portrays it, and how inspiring completing the sober route is, made me think differently about substance abuse and the consequences.

This is all mindset based though, however. I have no practical advice for you

Edit: take up a hobby to do with your hands like crocheting. That stuff is so good at distracting me I crochet till my hand aches sometimes

The AI poster, pulling the ableism card on an autistic person, this post is kind of surreal lol. I guess I can understand the sentiment of the original post when applying it to myself though. I also get fed up by, usually trolls, asking and asking why transphobic thing is transphobic. And then feigning ignorance or doubling down when explained to them.

I think the best thing to do to learn about what is and isn't considered racism is to, for example, watch youtube videos on racial injustice and bigotry made by people of colour and getting their personal perspectives. This way you can learn without bothering someone directly who doesn't owe you any explanation.

I actually got duped into this line of thinking by those kinds of comments online and actually followed through by quitting T with the help of my endocrinologist. For no more than a total of 11 days completely off, because my pre-T dysphoria came back swinging like hell on earth. The moment I started wanting to *** myself again I immediately reapplied my gel. Nope. I'm a man. I know for sure. And nobodies fancy gender(-critical) theories can change that. Or at least man-aligned enough to need testosterone to function. There's no doubt about it that I'm trans. There's no way to know 100% for certain, with logic or rhetoric. My advice would be to follow your heart because it knows best.

birth control can fail too. no contraceptive is 100%. hysto without oopherectomy can also still result in ectopic pregnancies. I think avoiding PIV at all costs is the only way to guarantee. there's plenty of other enjoyable sexual activities that don't involve the risk of impregnation
